One of our very creative user Gai has put our bubbles to a very interesting use and created our first Comiqs character: the Comiqs Bao (”Bao” means bun in Chinese, and the Comiqs Bao character does look like a typical Chinese bun haha!). Still clueless? Then read up the Wikipedia entry on bao.
The Comiq depicts a typical tradition in Chinese New Year where days before the Chinese New Year the whole family comes together to do spring cleaning. It has a symbolic meaning in sweeping away all the bad luck of the preceding year and starting the new year on a clean slate.Click here to leave your comments on the Comiq!
